How it works

PhoneTop EAS Alerts works with the National Emergency Alert System to provide local civil and weather alerts and national security alerts issued by the local, state, or Federal governments. Users subscribe by zip code ranges and any alerts issued within those range(s) will be supplied on the phone in both an audible and textual form. Alerts may be filtered based on type of alert, and different groups of users can be set up to receive different types of alerts.
PhoneTop AMBER Alerts works with the Code Amber organization to receive, filter and push to subscriber IP Phones local missing children warnings issued by law enforcement authorities.Users subscribe by zip code ranges and any alerts issued within those range(s) will be supplied on the phone in both an audible and textual form.
PhoneTop Homeland Alerts monitors the status of America's homeland security alert posture and alerts subscribed users to any changes to the posture. Whenever the U.S. Department of Homeland Security changes the terrorist threat condition, users will receive an audible and visible alert on their Cisco IP phones. The application also provides the IP phone user with details about the Homeland Security Advisory System threat condition in effect.
PhoneTop FBI Alerts monitors the FBI's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list and the Most Wanted Terrorists list and alerts subscribed users to changes. The FBI offers rewards for information leading to the apprehension of the Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. The Most Wanted Terrorists list provides data and pictures on alleged terrorists that have been indicted by sitting Federal Grand Juries in various jurisdictions in the U.S. for various crimes.
