AAC News PhoneTop Messenger Passes the 100,000 User Mark. October 13, 2006 Vienna, Virginia –AAC Inc, a leading provider of network engineering, convergence technologies, information assurance and IP Communications applications solutions, today announced that the firm’s PhoneTop® Messenger application has passed a major milestone in that the product has surpassed the 100,000 IP Phone users mark. PhoneTop Messenger allows users to send text messages, complete with special ringers, to users of Cisco IP Phones. It also allows the sender to receive back answers to questions via the soft keys on the phones. According to Doug Bowlds, VP of Engineering Services at AAC, “PhoneTop Messenger is now deployed in over three different public school systems, five different municipal governments, two federal agencies, two county governments, and dozens of private firms. We recently had a town government customer who had experienced a sudden email outage and needed a way of getting the word out to all the users in seven buildings located throughout the town.
