The conference was held at the Roanoke Higher Education Center on April 4th, 2003. AAC was joined by one of its PhoneTop Resellers, DATANET Services, Inc. from Greensboro, NC. Representatives from five different Virginia and North Carolina school districts were in attendance. The conference evolved into a detailed focus group meeting between the two firms and the school districts, allowing all parties to gain a clear understanding of how VoIP applications could be best deployed and utilized in a K-12 environment.
